I am hoping someone can give me a solution or some insight on my Fridge problem. I have a GE Profile Artica that has a Loud Noisy compressor and the Freezer side not freezing cold to where it suppose to be but the Fridge side seems to be working fine. I did browse through these forums after I had a technician come out to evaluate the problem which cost me a service call of $85 to tell me what "may" be the problem, this tech seem to be unconfident and just gave possible problems but I want to do a post hoping someone is familiar with this problem to give a more actual solution before placing anymore money into this fridge. I did do what the tech asked me to do before he came out and unplugged the fridge for 2 days (while i did place all the foods in my space fridge in my garage) and then plug it back up in the morning of the day that he came to look at it in the evening. Will someone please help.

Pull the refrigerator out of the wall, remove the rear cover and clean the condenser. Wait about 24 hours. Remove the rear panel in the freezer and check how the evaporator coils are covered with snow. Post the results. The only fix for a noisy compressor is to replace it. Also it is very possible that such compressor is malfunctioning causing insufficient temperature. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric PSS25NGMABB Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.comGene.
