Can I Remove The Water Supply Line From The Back Of My Ice Maker For Removal. I Have No Diagram But Want To Remove The Whole Unit For Thorough Cleaning. The Connection Is Plastic And Looks Like It Is Removable, Any Ideas? The Ice Maker Is Inop. The Water Still Is Avail At Door But No Cubes. Power Light Worls And Unit Is Very Cold.

Ice Maker Is Model Can13. Refer Is Hotpoint Models 24 And 25 As Shown On The Owners Manual That My Wife Still Has. Side By Side.

The refrigerator model number should be inside the refrigerator side, locatee the tag and post that model number please. Nat

If you want to remove the icemaker completely just remove the screws, unplug it and remove the fill tube-you will have to plug the whole just to keep the extra moistur out of the freezer. If it were me I would just replace the icemaker, part number AP4345120. Hope that helps Nat
