I'm having troubles with my washing machine. When it starts its spin cycles, it won't reach its capacity. If I open and close the lid a couple times, it reaches capacity. Whats wrong with it? Please help

please post your model number off the unit.

I'm not sure what the model # is, but I'll give you what I can see off the machine. It is EEV99413. Hope this helps, otherwise you're going to have to tell me where to find it.

Raise the lid about 3/4 way up, look under the hing area on the washer intself, there should be a tag there with a model & serial number

There is a sticker on the top right hand side of the lid, but it doesn't have any model # on it.

I found it, the model # is CW6500W and the serial # is 10894060EA

My guess would be the lid switch is going bad, part number AP4008752, if it will continue after shutting the lid a few times
