Hi Folks,

This is a built in oven and it's just over 1 year old. It appears to be completely out (no clock, timer exc) until you turn the knob to bake or broil then the clock turns on. The oven never turns on though. Think it may be the Selector switch as the continuity check doesn't seem right. After reviewing the blogs I'm wondering if it could be the clock panel with the circuit board.

Can someone give me a definitive way to check the switch? Other options?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

LM

Check your wiring, possilbe to have had a mouse chew a wire. A continuity check on the switch should tell you if it's good or bad.
Then if nothing check the control board.

Hi Nat,

Thanks for the quick response. Can you tell me a method of checking the control board?

Thanks,
