How are you going to do it? When a tank filled with LP (L stays for liquid) it creates very high pressure. You can fill up a tank with a gas from a house line but it's going to be so small amount with very little pressure of it.

You can measure the current drawn by the oven igniter and if it's more than 3.2 amps then most likely it will work.
