There is a crack in the water filter cup housing assembly which results in water leaks.

When I replace the housing assembly, should I expect to also have to replace the two elbow water tube connectors that connect the cup housing assembly to the water lines?

Naturally I prefer to avoid paying the extra $17 (cost of two elbow connectors) if it is typically not necessary to replace these elbow connectors, .... but alas, .... I am by nature lazy and prefer to fix my problem on my first try.

Experienced advice would be greatly appreciated. ...... & thanks in advance!
