my dryer was running nonstop, the dial would not move from the position i started it in and wasn't giving off any heat. my igniter wasn't glowing so i replaced it. still no glow no heat. could be the timer or the thermal fuse? what makes the igniter tick?

i went ahead and took a shot with replacing the thermal fuse and sure enough that was the problem. andf it was alot easier to get at and quicker to replace than the igniter.
