First Post; hello all.
Loud intermittent squeal. belt ok, have ordered rollers, glides, and pads from APP. (I am aware that Admiral is Maytag that uses some Whirpool etc.)
If this don't fix it need suggestions. Thanks

Could also be the motor bearings or the idler wheel.
Odds are one of the parts you ordered is the cause.
Check the idler wheel for slop and any signs that it is rubbing on the side of the shaft holder.
Also check the motor bearings for slop and give the armature a spin.
A drop of oil on theses bearings will not hurt.
Do not use WD-40 use a good oil like sewing machine or 3 in1 oil etc.
Do not go crazy with the oil as it will act like a dust magnet.
Also check the blower, could be something has fallen in there or the wheel is off kilter for some reason.
It is also a good time to clean/check your vent system. |

Just slight noise every now and then, probably new glides seating. Thanks again. A once noisy 'Admiral' went from one star (*) to four (****).
