I just replaced the evaporator fan motor (part#5304445861) on my Kenmore side by side (found out it was actually made by frigidaire). It is spinning slowly - est 50 - 60 rpm. What could be the problem?

The Model # is 25354662402. THis morning the fan was spinning faster but there was a rumbling/grinding noise coming from the motor. Do you the the new motor was defective?

Make sure the fan blade is not hitting the housing.
