My oven light doesnt come on when the button is pushed, does when door is open and off when closed. If I unplug the oven for a few minutes it reset it self and works again for a little while, then the light wont go off with the button. I then have to cycle the clear/off button and the light button a bunch of times to get it off. then it will work for a little while again then off all together again. I had the contol panel changed for this problem when it was under warranty but dont want to spend $300. if thats not gonna fix it for good. Any Help?

The clock control board does need to be replaced. The part # is WB27T10310 The price on it is alot cheaper then $300 bucks. Tom Appliance Educator, Appliance Parts, Washer and Dryer Parts, Refridgerator and Freezer Parts, Stove and Oven Parts

Thanks for the infomation. where did you get that part number? AP4881002 is the control board listed and the number you gave doesnt show up under this model number? is it just the clock side of the board and is that an updated part from original? I know they changed the whole thing before? Im willing to give it a try its half the cost of the whole board.

Thanks for clearing that up, I was gonna try that part. I have to think twice for $300 not sure if its gonna stay fixed. I wish they had a memo saying that this was a fix for this problem. My wife said yes this has been changed twice before I thought only once.

I sure like the old days when there were mechanical clocks, and all you had to do is turn the dial on the thermostat. It was alot cheaper to repair, and much easier to diagnose. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
