I think this puppy is finally on it's last legs. Replaced the rollers, arm, belt, and bearing about 2 years ago... now the motor is cranky. Sometimes it seems to overheat and just stop. Let it cool off and it starts working... this is about the last week or so, but on startup it makes a horrible sound, then runs OK.
Trying to figure out what the capacity of this dryer is as compared to current Bravos models. Maytag has three (3) different capacity sized dryers these days. Does anyone know what the older models like this are as far as capacity?
Thanks!

Thanks! It could be the motor blower wheel you hear. The best way to know for sure other then to take it apart is, turn the dryer on for a minutes, and the open the door. If it still makes the sound for a few seconds after the dryer is off, you need a blower wheel. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
