:confused: I pushed the reset on the bottom and it just hummmmmmsss. Now I am just one day from Thanksgiving:eek:. And I am exspecting 30 people and it's just humming. PLEASE HELP ME:eek: ! ASAP!

It's humming because it is jammed, or possibly rusted. It depends on how old it is and how long it's been since you last used it. Shine a light down into it and see if an obstruction is visible. Using a 1/4-inch allen wrench in the center of the bottom, try to rotate it (with the switch OFF) back and forth to try to dislodge the jam. A last effort if that didn't do it is to try to move it from above using a long screwdriver, broomstick, or similar item. If none of this works, replace it.

Ok I tried that. something happened. it sounds like it trying to start. (?) the red button on the bottom, is it supposed tostay in or out when you push it

It's a reset button. It pushes in and acts like you're resetting a circuit breaker.
