It's only about 1/2 inch or so but when I bake I am losing heat plus the light stays on all the time. I checked to see if something was keeping it from closing and cleaned all around the opening but there was not anything. Can someone please guide me?? :confused: Thanks! :)

The model numbers are usually 3 digits, a dot then another 6 or 7 digits. There is a site ManageMyLife.com, they have a lot of Kenmore manuals. Also could try the Sears site.
