Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/16/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		The soap cup lid on my dishwasher does not open during the cycle. The lid moves freely. When turning the Cycle Indicator I can feel the lid try to release but it will not open.

Here is a good site http://www.applianceaid.com/dish.html Check out #21. I believe the info on the GE at the bottom of the page applies to your unit.
