My Kenmore 3-speed agitator washer will not agitate. It goes through the spin & pumping cycles with no problems. I can spin the agitator in either direction with my hand. What should I do?

HI, I'm going to take a chance and say that there's a 110 in front of the other numbers on your washer, which would make it made by Whirlpool. in the top section of the aggitator there are probably some cogs called dogs, very cheap part and easy fix. Check for those. Hope That helps Nat

Thanks you were right. The dogs cost $2.00 and all I needed was a 1/2 inch socket drive and a flat head screwdriver to complete job. Took about 10 minutes to replace dogs. Washing again with an extra set of dogs, just in case.

Glad that helped! And extra dogs are a good idea. Just a little tidbit... you may want to vacuum the inside of your dryer out once a year to help frevent lint fires. Nat
