My mother in law has a whirlpool accubake. When the temp is set for 350, it overheats to 450 or 500 degrees, 250 overheats to 350 or 400, etc. We don't know if it's the temperature probe or control board. It's less than 3 years old

Usually, with that much disparity, it is the control board. 150 degrees is alot. If you want to ohm out the sensor it should read from 1060 to 1100 ohms. Tom Appliance Educator, Appliance Parts, Washer and Dryer Parts, Refridgerator and Freezer Parts, Stove and Oven Parts
