Dryer will run but not heat. Technician said Thermal fuse and thermostats were ok. The problem is with the Timer. Are there any installation instructions on this install or is it relatively easy.

If you have no meter, take the timer cover off and check for burnt contacts.

I replaced the timer on my GE dryer but neglected to mark where one wire went. It is the wire that goes from Terminal "D" (which had to be moved from my existing timer to the new timer) to the opposite corner through a rectangular beige box. I know it goes to either the first or second contact from the top but I don't want to blow it up by putting in on the wrong place. Can you give me any guidance?

Refer to you schematic for proper wiring.
