The dryer sometimes wont turn on,and sometimes all the lights light up and the display has 88 on it and it beeps erraticaly.The wrinkle guard turns on automatically most of the time.I can not find out why it works sometimes,I press cancel,unplug it and all combinations.Sometimes it works perfectly,I was wondering if maybe the user interface is bad?

Pull the back off the control panel and when it fails, check for missing voltages to the pc board. If power ok, you probably have a bad control module.
