I have a Frigidaire FDB989GFC2 dishwasher and there seems to be excessive motor hum/vibration. It's enough to cause the springs for the door to rattle loudly and the SS panel on the front to rattle.

Looking at the parts diagram, there doesn't seem to be a vibration damper weight as is found on some models. Is there a fix for this, or is this a known issue with the motors for this series? The dishwasher runs normally through all cycles other than the irritating motor vibration.

Is the motor on it's way out?

Any ideas?

Here is a manual, although it does not cover your exact model it should be close

All I can suggest is that you open the pump up and see if everything looks OK.
Also check for any slop on bearings etc.

If everything looks OK then probably the pump is on it's way out.
