The water temp is very hot. I keep the hot water heater perhaps too hot. Also, the recirculating pump is running when I try to do the dishes, so it gets instant hot water when it switches on.
It's maybe only 10-15 minutes before it shuts off if it is going to do so.

Okay, I bought an amp meter to test it. Now I need to figure out a few things:
1. Is there a link where I can download instructions as to what and where exactly I should touch the probes to to test it?
2. This amp meter has several settings. Which ones do I use or how do I figure out which settings to use?
3. I would like to test the motor (low current?) and as long as I am working on it, test the control board (which does not have much use since its replacement due to the other problem).
I'm not an electrical engineer nor an electrician, so I don't have the experience of reading those technical drawings or schematics. Positive, negative, ground, this should show that reading on such and such a setting -- I can do that just fine though.
TIA, Dobermann
