The ice maker and the small area above the ice maker is not cooling properly (not cold enough and no ice). The bottom half of the freezer however is still keeping the food frozen and the refrigerator side is not cold enough. Any troubleshooting tips or ideas, I notice that their are several sensors and thermostats in the freezer schematic.

This sounds like the evaporator fan motor is not operating inside the freezer... Tips for troubleshooting this are on this website with some research..
