Here's the situation: Over the past three years since I had my dishwasher installed, it's done this same thing 4 times. Somehow something gets "stuck", and the clean button flashes non-stop. It won't "cancel", and I can't start a new cycle.
Having purchased the dishwasher at Best Buy, I've always just had them come out to fix it. Each time the problem was the same, and he just pushed buttons--one, then another, back and forth a few times to "reset" the dishwasher. He explained to me that if I run the hot water in the sink prior to starting the cycle, I should be able to avoid this problem in the future.
Well, that worked, and the problem hasn't occurred for about a year--until yesterday. I guess I didn't run the water hot enough. Unfortunately my warranty has expired and I can't afford to have someone come out to help me. And of course I can't find the paperwork where I wrote down his instructions on how to reset it myself.
Anyway, I hope all of this information helps, and that you can understand what I'm talking about, and can help me so that I can use my dishwasher!
Thank you so much for this forum!!

Maybe it's locked does the light blink 3 times when you try? Consult owners manual online if you don't have it.
