Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/5/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		I have the f2 error code and the oven temperature is lower by several hundred degrees than the broil temperature or oven temperature setting before the oven shuts off with the f2 error code. If i reset the oven by cycling the power the oven works for a while at a low temperature then shuts off with the f2 code. It shuts off faster when trying to broil. The resistance measurement on the oven sensor was within the specs so i replaced the clock but no change in the f2 code. Any ideas? Should I replace the oven sensor any way or is it possible i got a defective clock or could it be something else?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 5/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 1,620		At the back of the oven the sensor wire connects to the erc wireing via a plug, cut out that plug, and hard wire the ends together, frequently that plugs connection is not tight enough, and will result in F2, if that does not fix it, replace the sensor.
