This is a GE Quiet Power II dishwasher (Potscrubber) There is no model number label on the unit whatsoever. Might have fallen off at some point. Anyway, the washer will run its full cycle, the coils are heating, but it is not filling with water. I have checked the float valve and the filter and both are OK.
What else could be the issue?
How do I fix this without having to call a repair tech?

Thanks

Have you checked for 120 volts across the fill valve when it should be filling.

If there is 120 volts then the valve is toast.

If there is no voltage across the valve, check across the float switch.
It there is 120 volts across the float switch then either it is not being activated or it is toast.

If no 120 then it will be a bad wire or your control board/timer is shot.
