Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/24/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		My Maytag dryer Model MDE5806AYW began making loud squeaking sound. What is the problem and how do I fix it? It drys the clothes fine but the sound is unbearable.The sound begins immediately when the dryer is turned on and sometimes gets quieter but continues thru the whole cycle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would rerplace the 2 rollers the idler pully wheel and the belt. It is a normal repair. The model # you posted ain't right.
