Hello ;):

My washer was exposed to 220 Volts by mistake (I live overseas and we use 220 Volts); normally my washer has a regulator that provides 110 Volts but it got broken, now we got a new energy transformer. Knowing this what parts do you think are broken?

The machine tumble but not spin, sometimes the washing cycle stops and I have to open and close the door and push start again in order to finish the cycle. There is water left inside the machine at the bottom of the drum and when I take the clothes out I set the knot in Spin and usually a couple of liters of water come out.

I took a look at the control board and the R-11 resistor is burnt up; I read about other similar problems and they advice to change the control board and other person adviced to replace the R-11 resistor with the associated Q-6 triode, also replace the wax motor.

Please help me and guide me with steps to try to fix this washer and provide me with the parts catalog numbers.

Last May you guys helped me fixing my Dryer! :) and I thank you very Much for all the help:)

Your defective door latch wax motor has taken out the R11 and Q6 triac. See MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + 12002535 WAX MOTOR for information.

Every Neptune, MAH3000, MAH4000, MAH5500A and the 2000 stackers were shipped with the defective door latch wax motors. The earlier MAH3000's have (3) wax motors, two being in the dispenser. They control the bleach and softener. When they go they don't damage the machine control board but they can damage the timer contacts that control them due to the high current flow until the circuit breaker trips.

Hello again,
Do you think that I have to replace the drain pump since it's labeled with 110 V-120Volts? and the washing machine was working with 220 Volts for a while?
Thanks,

Cielo

My Maytag Neptune will not spin up on final spin. It tumbles like in normal wash cycle. Also, I cannot perform diagnostic tests as I cannot find how to access the motor control. There is only one access panel in the back and tha motor control seems to be hidden. Need help on doing diagnostics.
