The dryer doesn't seem to be heating up enough to dry my clothes. It appears there is still some heat because if I run a manual cycle on high for about 2 hours the clothes will get dry enough.

Is there a specific part I can purchase to remedy this problem?

I have cleaned out the venting area and double checked the vent line. The problem still remains

Remove the front panel and the lint screen housing (#45 on the break down diagram). Clean the lint screen housing and check the blower wheel.

Replace the gas valve coils.

- The part number for the gas valve coil kit is AP3094251

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model GGW9200LQ0

Gene,

Thank you for your response. We took apart the dryer, cleaned out everything, replaced the gas coils and checked the blower wheel. Once we put it back together the dryer worked like a charm for a week. Apparently it was short lived because the problem is back again. The air won't get hot. Could something be causing the coils to burn out or is there another problem we should be looking at?

Check the ducting in the house for obstructions, disconnect it from the dryer and verify it is now heating up.
