Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/22/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		My son slammed the door and now the microwave still heats but the light and fan that cools the magnetron don't work. Also, the table doesn't rotate. I think the Fan motor is not working but not sure why. Any ideas as how to diagnose further and fix? I opened up the microwave and checked the fan and it is still tightly connected to the shaft. Model Number is JVM1851WH06 Series no. SH 900357 B Manufactured: September 2005

[COLOR="Red"]Don't reach your hands in there without first unplugging the appliance, and discharging the capacitor by shorting across the terminals with a screwdrever blade of insulated wire[/COLOR].

Others will hold a charge indefinitely. If you're afraid of it, the best thing to do is call a pro to do the diagnosis.
