Need technical help please:

My dryer operates (i.e., spins clothes) but will not heat up clothes without running through the "timed cycle" of 130 minutes at least 4 times! Obviously, this is a huge waste of time and energy! The filter and tube are clear. I was told it might be an "igniter"? Can someone please assist me with this problem and what other item or items might be causing this?

Thank you

Is it warm or cold inside the dryer at the end of the cycle?

It is a very low warmth at the end of the cycle. It's almost as if it drying on an extremely light heat. It takes about 4 full 105 minute cycles to get light clothes dry. This has never happened before.

The first thing I would check is the vent hose, venting inside walls, the blower wheel and the air ducts inside the dryer.

ldo29944,

What is the complete model number of the dryer? Is the problem with your dryer is exactly the same as the problem mentioned by mr1m54u or there is something different? Did you check the exhaust line?

Darryl,

Does the flame come up every time (even for a short time) when the igniter glow?

What is the complete model number of the dryer?
