Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/20/2010(UTC) Posts: 5		I have a Maytag Drying Cabinet MCE8000AYW. It is making beeping noises and lights flash randomly. Sometimes the letters "dd" appear in the time countdown area of the lower dryer. I have shut off power at the breaker box because it starts up by itself.

It said that stopping and starting might be due to dust on the motor. I opened the front panel of the dryer and found a ton of dust. After vacuuming I reassembled the dryer. It works like new.
