my parents just gave us their matching maytag atlantis set, we had the washer but wanted a matched set, so we took theirs....not knowing that the finished signal is non-negotiable.....it's not loud at all, not near as loud as my old dryer, which was optional, but it's a very high pitched chime and literally is driving my female jack russell insane....I mean KOOKOO insane, like borderline neurosis....please help!! I am sure there is a way to disconnect a wire or something, but my husband can't find a schematic online anywhere and doesn't want to just start disconnecting wires....would appreciate any help :) thank you

Looks like the bell is a attached to the timer.
He may be able to remove the bell itself or muffle it.
