My soft supply tube on my kitchenaid dishwasher has worn out and needs to be replaced. My question, after lookink at the diagram, is do I need the whole middle spray arm kit or can I get away with replacing just the new hard supply tube?

Hi, The part number from the diagram is #6. That is the soft rubber supply tube. I wish that could get my hands on one of those but, I have seen so far that it is no longer available. My model # is KUDC25CH BL1. When I plug that in the diagram shows a "hard plastic" supply tube for part #6. In addition, it shows a whole kit replacement.
My question is; Do I need the whole kit or just the supply tube alone to replece the worn out rubber tube? It seems it would be very simple if I could get my hands on the soft rubber one!!!

I would just take the tube off and to a hardware store, and look for a replacement hose in the appropriate size.

That be tough because the fitting on the spray arm side is oval and the the fluted end on the side closest to the back wall is round?
So, unless you know of some outlet that still has the exact "soft rubber replacement supply tube", can I just get by with using just the hard plastic tube described in the diagram to do the job? I really do not want to buy the whole spray arm supply tube kit if I do not need it??

Looks like you're just going to have to get the whole kit.
