Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/31/2008(UTC) Posts: 2		Hello all, I'm hoping to get some advice about what to do with my fridge/freezer. What happened first (not my problem) is the ice-maker messes up and doesn't dump, so I don't use it. But it started running and filled the freezer with ice. I finally got the door open, but it's a little more than half frozen. What's worse is that the fridge is getting warm now. There is either condensation or drainage in there. The top has water droplets all over it. The bottom is full of water. Water is running on the floor underneath. All the food is maybe too warm already, and I really hate to throw things away But is there any way I can fix this quickly??? If anyone can tell me what I need to do to get it up and running, I'd REALLY appreciate it. And if it's a totally lost cause, or whatever, I guess I need to know that too. Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 10/31/2007(UTC) Posts: 214		Turn the water off to the fridge, turn fridge off, clean up any water/ice in bottom of fridge and freezer compartments (ceiling too)... Remove back cover inside freezer to expose evaporator coil... Use hair dryer to remove any ice buildup on evaporator coil... Replace back cover inside freezer... This shouldn't take more than 2 hours to do... Turn fridge back on... Leave the water off until the ice maker problem is solved, may be time for a new ice maker...
