When I press the start button it humms (not buzzer) and only starts sometimes. Drum will turn by hand, belt seems okay, rollers will turn.

That means you need a motor. It has a bad start winding. It is a great dryer, and the m otor is pretty cheap. Tom Appliance Educator, Appliance Parts, Washer and Dryer Parts, Refridgerator and Freezer Parts, Stove and Oven Parts
