the Washer Starts the Wash cycle, Gets into about 1/2 Hour then Shuts Dow. NO CODES when it shuts down to look on the Front just Shuts down. replaced the front Latch and have looked at the pump cleaning area in front as some have suggested and the filter there is unobstructed. Repairman is at a loss. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?? Repairman says pump is working good.

MNK,

Is this a constant or intermittent problem ?

How do you restart the cycle ?

At this point, I'm guessing you may have a line filter problem, or a bad CCU, if not a loose connection.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Just started last week. After it shuts off it takes a couple of times pushing the start button to turn it back on. sometimes there is a beep or a buzz. each time it does something different. It starts to get water and all cycle lights on the left side go off but time light stays on till it shuts down. What is a ccu? What connections are we talking about -- Where the water line comes in. Thanks for your quick response. Waiting to hear from you. There are no filter on the machine input that i know of unless you can tell me where its at. Serial # csp 5018236 if that is good for anything.

MNK,

Did the servicer run the diagnostic, test mode when he was there ?

You may want to run it again, it's located inside the cabinet, usually on the back side wall interior(you'll need to remove the top panel, 2 scews on the back of cabinet)

CCU stands for Central Control Unit (main control board).

And the Line filter removes possible static and radio waves that could effect the control board.

These components are all located inside the cabinet, and you have to remove the top panel in order to see and access them.

Now that we've got a better understanding of the complaint, running the diagnostics will give us a better indication of which direction to go.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)

MNK,

Remove the three screws across the back and slide the top back,

approximately one inch to unlock the front tabs, and remove the top.

Usually , on the back wall, near the control assembly, you should find the Technical Data Sheet.

Read through the Sheet, to get a rough idea how things work, then program into the diagnostic and test mode, to pull up any unseen codes and the unit should run a short test cycle.

If it's not there, or in the lower compartment, let us know, we'll hunt one down and get it to you.

Mike,

Here is a copy of the Tech Data Sheet, you should have found in your unit,

Like my previous post, review the information, and run the test(s).

Let us know what you find.
