I am replacing broken top and looking for detailed directions on replacing, i basically understand how to remove but am wondering about gasket replacement. do the right left and rear need to be replaced or can they be reused? also does the new glass come attached to the metal plate already and does it just screw back down the way it is taken out? last but not least is there any caulking or extra tape that i will need to finish this properly? thanks so much for any information provided!

The new glass top comes with the frame attached to it and, I believe it comes with the new gaskets as well. Caulking is not a good idea but you can use a double sided tape if you think it's needed. - The main top assembly Part number: AP3994494

It would not hurt if you order the gaskets too. It's just a few bucks more. Quote:...and do i really need the double sided tape and where would it go... I do not know. You have to figure it out at the installation time as an additional hermetic. Gene.

Just a quick note to say thanks for the link to the exploded parts views. I also may be looking at replacing the glass top of the same model range. Will also help greatly if I have any other replacements to do. Krap those tops are expensive!
