My fridge just turned 5 yrs old. Lately the water is filling with enough pressure that it taps the wall. Now the water dispenser hardly dispenses at all and the ice has gone from hollow to pieces to almost none. Any suggestions? I did recently open it up to clean out a clogged freezer drain tube, but this problem was already happening. Thanks for any help, I'm hoping to fix this weekend.

How old is the water filter? It has to be replaced between six months to one year depending of the amount of water used. - The water filter Part number: AP4343647

I pulled the filter and replaced it with the plug; water flows perfectly!! :D but he the icetray never filled at all. I pulled the tube leading into the freezer to check for ice blockage but there was nothing. There is water in the tube leading from the bottom to the top opening though.

Locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator. Swap the wires between the solenoids on the water valve. Press the water dispenser release lever for a few seconds and check for water in the ice maker. If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve. If there is water, replace the ice maker. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP4080917
