Good afternoon all....
I believe that the attaching bolt for my agitator has backed out part way, allowing the agitator to move up and down an inch or so, and occasionally stop agitating (it is working right now). I removed the softener dispenser, but there is a cap or deflector just below the 4 slots that the softener spins out through. Does this cap simply pry out? Is it likely that I will destroy it in removing? Thanks for your help!

I don't think your model has a bolt holding on the agitator. It pull off, but it is frequently difficult to do, and it can come off suddenly and smack you in the face, so be very careful.

Look for the problem in the agitator coupler at the base of the shaft after you get the agitator off.
