Gene/Others:
I've got a 3-1/2 yr old Frigidaire "Pro Series" electric oven. It started giving me an F13 ERR a couple of weeks ago anytime that I tried to use the oven. After reading Gene's comments on the forum, I replaced the clock/timer (i.e. oven control board?) -- ordered from appliancepartspro.com. Part# 316418735
I replaced the part tonight, and at first glance everything was fine. The oven functions appear to be working -- at least it's heating up now and not giving error codes. However, the OVEN LIGHT STAYS ON ALMOST CONSTANTLY.
If I turn on the broiler, the light shuts off. Yet as soon as I turn off the broiler the light turns back on. Aargh. When I push the "Oven Light" button it does beep.
Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks gang!

Is this a bad oven control board? or is it a misplaced ribbon cable? Or something else?

Ben,
When you did all the heating tests in what position was the oven door - open or closed?

Ben,
Sounds like the mew part is defective. It has to be exchanged by the seller.
Gene.
