Water issue first: I turn the dial for the water selection to cold and it just trickles in but when it's on hot or warm, the water gushes into the tub. I tried the water valve connection and that is opened all the way. I do have hard water.
What could be the problem??? How to fix it???
Cycle issues: My washer do not complete any cycle. It will partially fill up and then stop. I have to turn the timer dial all the way around again, stop at the next function, the water will start to trickle in again (because I use cold) and after a couple of minutes it will agitate. For every function, I have to turn the timer dial completely around and stop at that function. I have already replaced the timer - it washed one medium load and then it started doing all the same stuff again. What could be the problem??? How to fix it???

First thing I would do is take the cold water hose off the machine, stick the end in the washer and turn the valve on to make sure you have good water pressure coming out the hose, if not the house cold water valve is bad, or the screen on the hose is clogged, if water comes out good, look at the valve on the machine, the screen may be clogged.

I think it all has to do with your water issues, you need to correct the water issue first

Ok, so I've taken off the valve and the water pressure is excellent. Checked the valve on the machine and that's full of sediment and pretty much blocked. How do you clean it out?

You can get needle nose pliers and remove the screens in the valve to clean them.

Figured it out already. Washer works perfectly - great water pressure and cycles are switching on their own. Never knew that clogged water screen could cause so much problem. Thank you so much. Made my day to have that fixed.
