Hello, a couple of months ago the pump on our Potscrubber 650 shelled out and I purchased a GE replacment from APP. The pump model was AP2616850 (WD26X10013) $117.00 - the order number was #324127. Everything seemed fine with the install, but we quickly started noticing what appeared to be soap residue over most of the dishes. Sometimes the soap is actually still caked in the dispenser. I have tried researching and found very similar references to GE washers indicating a low water level condition likely caused by a failing water valve. After looking at our washer again, I see that it is very simple in design. I have run it through the cycles several times, checking the water level and attempting to see how much water was being sprayed. The water into the tub seems very unrestricted and I was showered several times while opening the door during the cycle - so I think it has plenty of spraying power. However, I realize the issue may be random. I know the pump was a redesign/upgrade by GE, but the old pump had none of these issues even with pieces broken off the impeller. I will certainly welcome any advice.

Normal water level suppose to be about 3/4" above the center of the dishwasher floor.

I have a similar problem to Jettman. Just replaced the motor -pump assembly for my GE Potscrubber dishwasher. The pump had been leaking, but otherwise, the dishwasher cleaned perfectly. However, now with the new motor-pump, the dishes do not come out clean and there is residual dirty water left on the bottom of the dishwasher when the cycle is complete. I want my old dishwasher back! Can anyone help me?
