Hi folks. I received from appliancepartspros a replacement ignitor for my Whirlpool gas range. It is a replacement for Whirlpool Ignitor number 816625. The new one has on its side the number 4363351. The ignitor itself looks fine, but the original ignitor in my oven, and the picture of the ignitor on the instructions that came with the new ignitor, both have an extra thick fiberglass sleeving on the wires for several inches where the wires leave the ignitor. Those are the several inches that are actually in the hottest part of the oven itself. The one I was sent does not have this extra sleeving. Nor does there seem any way to simply add the sleeving (say by taking the old sleeving off the original ignitor and putting it on the new one) without actually cutting the wires. Have I been sent a defective part or is this just the newest version? This looks like a safety hazard to me so I want to be sure before I install it. Thanks in advance for you help. Sanford
