Kitchenaid side-by-side refrigerator Model@ KSCS25INSS00 Manufactured January 2005 Icemaker stopped working. I tested the water module, water flowed. I tested test points L&N, no voltage I jumped test points T&H, the motor did not run. The test procedure Guide I downloaded said to replace the module assembly, but due to no voltage at test points L&N, I tested what else I could see. I did a continuity test on the harness with the thermo fuse, seems to be okay. I tested the voltage the harness with the thermo fuse plugs into, expecting 120 volts. I tested black to white - 40 volts, black to green - 40 volts, and black to tan - 40 volts. Any ideas?

I read a few bloggs on another site, where multiple people stated that although the test procedures said to use a multi meter with test propes at least 1/2" in length, the minimum required length is actually 3/4". I cut some of the plastic off the ends of my test propbes, and quess what, my ohm meter read 120 volts at test points L&N. So, I am now ordering a replacement module.
