Initially the ice dispenser door would not close. With the dispenser door open there was substasntial ice build-up on the ice draw mechanism. Not realizing this I gave it a go after repositioning the lever so the flap would close. It seems like a circuit was tripped and a breaker has to be reset, because even after removing the ice buildup and freeing up the mechanics, the draw mechanism does not activate to dispense the cubes. I'm confident that there is no such breaker and am unsure what else to check.

Does it dispense water or it's completely dead?

Does it make any noise (clicking, humming, etc) when you try to use it?

Water is fine.

No hum or any noise at all.

With door open, I depressed the door switch and pressed the ice dispenser, no noise or action with ice bin in or out.

Check the wire harness under the freezer door.

Remove the dispenser front cover and visually inspect all parts and wire harness.

If there is nothing wrong then the front cove assembly has to be replaced. In order to provide the right part number I need the color of the front cover.

Here are the break down diagrams fro the Kitchen Aid refrigerator Model KSCS25FKSS01

Initially, in order to reposition the lever, I did disconnect wires and remove the bracket. I have since checked all connections and reassembled, to no avail.

The color of the cover assy is black. Looks to me like part #AP3126702.
Ouch! She's not a cheap date, that's for sure.

Yes, the part number is correct. Keep us posted.
