Hello, new to the forum and looking for answers..hopefully someone can provide insight.

I'm having issues with our dryer where in the last few months it will randomly just stop in the middle of a cycle and have 4 rapidly blinking lights on the right side.

Just now I found out it did it again.. our model is a Frigidaire LEQ2152ES.

The control panel lights were still lit...it was showing Normal Cycle, Hight Heat, Normal Dryness with the 4 lights on the right side blinking quickly (Drying, Cool, Down, Press Saver, and Clean Lint Filter.). In the display it was set on AD (auto dry).

Any Ideas on what might be causing this? It's kind of a pain because there are no beeps or anything when it happens..it just stops (I sat there one night and watched it do it.)

Thanks,
Mike

It might be a caused by the dryer over heating or dryer thinks its over heating. I would start with checking the exhaust vent from the back of the dryer to the wall hook up and then outside. If your vent is more than 10 feet from the wall hook up to the outside hood it should be cleaned at least every 2 years. With a name like moparmaniac im sure youve got an air compressor or leaf blower :) Start from inside the house and let'er rip. Then make sure you clean all the lint on the outside hood. If that doesnt cure the problem it could be the temp sensor in the dryer (some manufacturers call it a thermister) or a problem with the main board.

Well ..>Crossing fingers...I think I may have found the culprit...

The last few days we haven't even been able to complete one load without it stopping in the cycle....

Took out the circuit board looking for the part number and when pulling off the connectors for the heating relay noticed it felt loose...went ahead and took it out of the housing and sure enough 2 of the leads were loose on the board including one of the main leads.

Resoldered all 4 leads on the relay and put it back in...made it through 1 full cycle..so here's hoping that's the fix!!

Time will tell...

Hello, I was wondering if this solved your problem? If so, where do I access the circuit board and heating relay? is it located on the back of the dryer or behind the user control panel on the front?
Thanks!:) ;)

My dryer has been stopping and displaying AD ever since I came home yesterday from a weekend camping trip. I did the test thing not sure if I did it right but I hit cancel/start at same time while setting on normal and got displayed E4A. I'm getting heat and replaced heating element when I first bought the dryer last year secondhand. I am currently taking air blower and blowing out all the dust and lint bc there seems to be a lot as my dryer sits on my backporch (screened in) so gets dirty easily. Any help? Thank you in advance

Mine was having this issue. I cleaned out ductwork, checked thermistor and wiring and everything seemed ok. I took apart the control panel and found a loose/broken contact on the circuit board. It was on the black box where the red and black wire plug in, where it is soldered to the circuit board. Re soldered back together and dryer seems to be working now. I'll update after further testing.

UPDATE:
Its been several days and dryer is working everytime. I believe this solved my problem.
