Thanks for the great info, got my Magnetron for free from Ge, still does not work, didnt get the diode, will order it here, however my repairman said to get the capacitor also, looked for that and there are two, motor capacitor and capacitor, which one should i get?

i would assume HV Capacitor NOT motor cap but not enough info

Can you be more detailed on what it does and does not?

I do not think the capacitor is bad. If it is shorted then it will cause the fuse to blow in the first second after the start button pushed.
