The ice maker unit does not seem to know when to stop filling the water in the ice tray. Water continues to flow over and into freezer until the wire harness in back of ice maker is disconnected. Is this a possible valve problem? I already replaced the entire ice maker unit and still same problem. Thanks.
Joe

Hi Joe,
Most likely the problem is a bad water valve. In order to provide the right part numbers I need the complete model number of the refrigerator.

Yes, the ice maker can be bad too. Do what okbobcats recommended before replacing any parts and post the results.
