I am replacing the user control panel on a front loading Whirlpool washer. How do I get access to the end of the wiring harness inside the washer. There is a front loading dryer on top of the washer. Do I have to remove it first and take the top off the washer?

Yes, you do have to remove the dryer and the top panel off the washer.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model GHW9200LQ0
