All of a sudden the cycle selector knob will not let you select the Normal, Bulky or Quick Dry cycles on my Whirlpool Duet Dryer. When the control panel is turned on, and the knob is turned to any of these cycles, a completely different cycle is lit. The one I use most, "Normal-auto dry" lights up the delicate auto-cycle. Problem with this is that the heat settings are locked in and cannot be changed. There have been no error messages is the display. When entering the Diagnostic Test Mode, no error codes were displayed and other than the cycle selector knob section of the Keypad Test- all other tests were passed. While turning the cycle selector knob one complete rotation: "When the knob points to a cycle, the corresponding LED should go out, and the dryer should beep". All other cycles perform correctly except for the Normal, Bulky, Casual (Auto Dry cycles) and Quick Dry (manual) - these lights remain lit. Any ideas before I call the repairman?
