I am looking for an 'exploded view diagram'. I have the machine apart and can see springs etc., but without a diagram I can not tell how they work or fasten to each other.
I'm looking for a parts diagram for my Kenmore series 80 clothes washer. model # 110.27812692, serial # cg2692946. The problem is that the drum sets at an angle toward the front right of the machine (as you face it). This causes water to spill over the back side of the drum when the unit is filling with water. I'm looking to see what is supposed to keep the drum upright, like springs or bearings... Any help would be much appreciated!

Your machine was made by Whirlpool for Sears. Here is a typical model. From your description, it sounds like a counter-balance spring has broken or disconnected. This is the one that would offset the weight of the motor/pump assembly. Look under the machine and see if there is a spring loose, on the floor.

YOU are THE MAN!!! I found the counterweight spring had worn through the frame and pulled free. The spring looks worn too, so I will try to drill a new hole in the frame and re-attach the spring. Might need a spring too....

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
